Introduction

This is the privacy notice for batemanmusic.co.uk, owned by Bateman Music. In this policy, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to Bateman Music.

Our contact email is [email protected]

This policy explains what information we collect from you, or you provide to us, through our website, and how we process and store it.

Personal Information we process with your consent

We offer an online enquiry form through our website, and it is wholly your decision to use this form. The purpose of the online enquiry is to make initial contact with Bateman Music regarding your interest in employing our music tuition services. For the form to be submitted we request that certain data is completed. This data comprises “personal data” (data that can identify you) and is used by us to contact you regarding our service, and to provide you with our service upon mutual agreement to proceed. We request two forms of contact information to ensure we are able to discuss your application.

By submitting the form, you consent that you are 18 years or over, and that if you are completing for someone else then you have explicit consent to do so, or are the child’s parent or guardian. If the date of birth entered is for a student under the age of 18, we will assume the contact email and phone number belong to the parent/guardian completing the form.

Your entered information is encrypted at the point of submitting, and is sent through a third party mailer in encrypted form. It is received and stored by [email protected] exclusively.

It is your responsibility to familiarise and satisfy yourself with our privacy policy prior to submitting your data through our online enquiry form. We consider that you have consented to us using your data as laid out in this privacy policy at the time of submitting the form.

Implicit consent

If you contact us via the email address supplied on this website, then you give your consent implicitly for us to use the data you provide us in order to respond to your enquiry.

Removal of your data

We keep your personal information for as long as required by us:

  • to provide you with the services you have requested
  • for a time that we deem reasonable to provide us with a window within which to contact you regarding your application

If you wish for us to delete any or all of your personal data that we have stored, please email [email protected] detailing your request. We may take steps to verify your identity before executing this request. Please be aware that removal of your personal data from our records may limit the service we are able to provide to you.
